Minka Preservation Society: They Built It, We Preserve It

• Minka Times: A quarterly, bilingual newsletter with articles written by and for our MPS community.

• Minka Views: Regional gatherings featuring visits to local minka and opportunities to meet and share experiences and expertise.

• Minka Meets: Curated Artisan Events hosted around the country and driven by local craft artisans and Minka champions.

• MinkaCon: An annual event, the International Minka Conference.  Our first MinkaCon will be hosted November 5-7, 2025, in Shinshiro, Aichi.

• A web-based forum with specific topics where members can share information, ask & answer questions, and more.

• Beyond Minka: showcasing the wonderful uses renovators around Japan have for their heritage buildings.
